How does the 28-day course work?
Each day unlocks a small lesson — vocabulary, a phrase block, a short grammar note, and a brief speaking drill. Plan on fifteen to twenty minutes. The day's words automatically join your flashcard deck, so review is always anchored in things you've actually seen, not random vocabulary.
Can I learn more than one language at once?
Yes. You can switch between courses at any time from the home screen, and progress, decks, and review schedules are kept separate per language pair. Most people find it easier to focus on one at a time, but the app won't stop you.
What's the difference between Pro and Premium+?
Pro is a one-time purchase that removes ads, unlocks custom courses and word sets, and adds camera OCR for capturing vocabulary in the wild. Premium+ is a monthly subscription that includes everything in Pro plus AI features — paragraph translation and AI-generated word sets, with a monthly quota.
Does the AI translation work offline?
No — AI translation requires a network connection. The on-device dictionary still works without one, so single-word lookups, daily lessons, and flashcard review are all available offline.
How does spaced repetition decide what to show me?
Every card lives in one of five buckets, from New to Mastered. Correct answers move a card up; wrong answers send it back down. The further up a card sits, the longer the gap before you see it again, so well-known words quietly fade into the background while shaky ones come back tomorrow.
Can I import my own vocabulary lists?
With Pro or Premium+, yes. You can paste a list, type cards by hand, or use the camera OCR to grab a list off a printed page. Each custom set lives alongside your course decks and follows the same spaced-repetition schedule.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, depending on where you bought it. On iOS, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. You'll keep Premium+ access until the end of the current billing period.
I lost my progress / signed in on a new device — what now?
Open the app, head to Settings → Store, and tap Restore Purchases — that pulls down anything you've already paid for. If you also enabled iCloud or Google sign-in, your progress and decks should follow you to the new device. If something looks off, email us with the email address you used and we'll sort it out.
